Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data the MotionCore app collects, why we process it, who helps us process it and how you can exercise your rights.

1. Data we collect

DataWhy
Email address and passwordTo create your account and sign you in. Passwords are stored only as an irreversible hash and can never be read.
Name, username, genderTo build your profile and show you on leaderboards and in battles.
Profile photo (optional)Shown on your profile, on leaderboards and in battles.
Age, height, weight, target weight (optional)To personalise your statistics.
Workout records (exercise, reps, duration, form results, timestamps)To track your progress, calculate leaderboard scores and keep scoring fair.
Battle records (opponent, scores, result, trophy rating)To run matches, matchmaking and rankings.
Bug reports and feedback you sendTo fix problems and reply to you.
Crash and error reports (device model, operating system and app version, technical error details)To find and fix crashes. They don't contain your name, email address or camera images.

Camera images never leave your device. Movement analysis runs entirely on your phone; camera frames are not recorded, stored or sent anywhere. Only numeric results reach our servers: rep counts, duration and form results. During a battle, simplified body keypoints (a stick-figure skeleton, not an image) are sent live to your opponent so the app can show your movement; they are not stored.

We do not collect:

  • Your location
  • Contacts, messages or call logs
  • Advertising identifiers (the app shows no ads)
  • Payment or card details (the app has no in-app purchases)

2. How we use your data

  • To create your account, verify your sign-in and keep you signed in
  • To show your workout history and statistics
  • To calculate leaderboards and find battle opponents with a similar trophy rating
  • To keep scoring fair, for example by discarding implausible or overlapping sessions
  • To investigate crashes and the problems you report, and to answer your requests

We don't use your data for advertising and we never sell it.

3. What other users can see

On leaderboards and in battles, other users can see your username, profile photo, score and trophy rating. During a battle your opponent also sees your live rep count and your skeleton. If you'd rather not share these, leave out the profile photo and choose a username that doesn't identify you.

Your email address, age, height, weight and goals are never shown to other users.

4. Service providers

ProviderPurpose
SupabaseDatabase, authentication, file storage and the realtime connection used in battles
GoogleSign-in, if you choose to continue with Google; app distribution through Google Play
AppleSign-in, if you choose to continue with Apple (iOS)
SentryCrash and error reporting

These providers process data only to provide their services to us. Some of them may process data outside your country; where the law requires it, this happens under appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

5. How long we keep data

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your data is deleted permanently; removing it from backups takes up to 30 days. Crash reports are kept for at most 90 days.

6. Deleting your account

In the app, tap your profile photo, then Settings → Edit Profile → Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, workout records, battle history, measurements, goals, profile photo and login. It cannot be undone.

If you can't use the app, use our account deletion page.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, for example under the EU GDPR or Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK), you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format and complain to a data protection authority.

You can edit your profile in the app and delete your account at any time. For anything else, email redme.developer@gmail.com.

8. Security

  • All data in transit is encrypted with HTTPS
  • Your sign-in session is kept in your phone's secure storage (Android Keystore)
  • Database rules let each user access only their own data
  • Pose analysis happens on the device, so there are no camera recordings to protect

9. Children

MotionCore is not intended for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect data from them. If we learn that we have, we delete the data and close the account.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If the changes are significant, we'll let you know in the app. The effective date at the top shows the latest version.
